The Prosecutor’s office sent to court indictment against the men, who during the Revolution of Dignity in February 2014, was shot in the leg member-defense on the street revutskiy in Darnytskyi district of Kiev. This was reported on the website of the Prosecutor’s office of Kiev.
“The results of the investigation the man who shot at the activists, declared suspicion under part 1 of article 122 (intentional Commission of a medium gravity injuries which have entailed long frustration of health) and part 4 of article 296 (gross violation of public order based on obvious disrespect for society, accompanied by special impudence committed by use of firearms) of the criminal code of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
Suspect being near one of the houses, together with an unidentified person, the materials in respect of which are allocated in separate criminal proceedings, and saw three citizens who voluntarily patrolled the streets to maintain order.
Hearing the phrase “Glory to Ukraine” the attacker got out of the car a shotgun and fired several shots in the direction of self-defense. One of the volunteers during the shooting sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was hospitalized.For the committed attacker threatens from 3 till 7 years of imprisonment.
Earlier it was reported that in cases of events of the revolution of dignity it was reported about suspicion of 413 individuals, of which 48 senior officials and 208 militiamen.
