In the first 9 months of 2018 passenger traffic through the airports of Ukraine grew by 23.9% and amounted to nearly 15.6 thousand people. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine.
Thus, in January-September of 2018, there was a significant increase in the number of serviced passengers in major airports: Kyiv (“Zhulyany”) – by 57.3%, Lvov – by 46.6%, Zaporozhye – 19%, Odessa – by 19.3%, Kharkiv – 18.1%, Boryspil – 17.6% and Dnipropetrovsk – 7.4%.
Also, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure, the significant growth in passenger traffic was recorded in the airports of the cities of Chernivtsi (55.3%) and Kherson (by 51.1%).
Recall that the international airport “Boryspil” took the third place in Europe, the growth of passenger traffic at the airports. He thus secured a position among the leaders in the rating according to the classification of the airports Council International (ACI Europe).
